We faced the difficulty in searching her Malay friend's, Allifah house. After contacting her friend to confirm the location, finally we arrived its back door of her house.

Around 2pm, Akad Nikah was started.I observed Akad Nikah done by the Allifah's father in the presence of religious officials.

Akad Nikah started with the groom sitting on the round mattress facing the religious officer.They hold their hand in the form of handshake. The religious officer say the words to the groom and the groom will reply

Then, bridegroom and bride received the briefing given by the religious officer about the rights and responsibilities as a married couple from the Islamic perspective.

Next, the groom did Muslim "Solah Syukur", prayer as appreciate Allah on the successful Nikah proceedings and seek guidance on his new status as a husband

The groom signed the marriage contract and agree to provide bridegroom "Mas Kahwin" in the form of money and goods.

I'm quite impressed with JoJo's determination in attending her friend's wedding although consumed much of her savings. She was sincere in giving the blessing for her 4 years engineering friend regardless of different of races, culture and background.

When the Akad Nikah proceeding was done, she told me her heart was fulled, tears of joy flowed. She was in touch with Allifah's wedding. I looked at JoJo in amusement as the tears rolling down her cheeks and I wondered where my rational JoJo was gone.

For me, it was not an emotional wedding. I'm just tagged along JoJo in participating the wedding. I wished to spend more time with JoJo within the few days she stayed in Miri. 

Will I cry if that's JoJo's wedding?

Update on **1 May 2014**

JoJo came to Miri during the Malaysia Labour Day. I'm very glad when she announced she will visit me in May 2014 while attending her friend's wedding at the same time.  

1 year working alone in Miri, never thought that any family members and relatives will step into Miri. 

JoJo, you're my first guest.~~~I was anxious about your arrival on 1 May 2014. I even spring cleaned the house and room to welcome you. Also, I worried her lunch and dinner in my hostel when I'm working. The lunch idea "tapau" for her was a lot and I couldn't wait go home and put them into action. I never had such kind of feeling when none of family members in Miri. I realized the reason of Tay Pa Pa settled our 5 daughters' breakfast before he left for work. Because of "love"Tay Pa Pa never complained his tiredness in managing our breakfast. 

Anyway, your existence make me rejoice and brighten my life in Miri temporarily.

 Around 8.45am, JoJo reached my hostel. She told me the taxi fare from the airport to Pelita had increased.In fact, she took the luxury taxi wrongly that charges RM 38

 As my request, she managed to shoot a photo under Pelita signboard

 Brought her to 2020 cafe for brunch. It gained its popularity in selling dim sum among Mirians

Update on **3 May 2014**

 

Hooray, JoJo reached the old town area of Miri

 We were following Tian Ning's mother to the shop that were selling fabrics

We're in Boulevard Shopping Complex.JoJo said Boulevard Shopping Complex almost same with Karamunsing Complex in KK

 After 2 1/2 hours in Boulevard Shopping Complex, we decided to quench my thirsty in Share Tea. In fact, I let JoJo exposed to the Miri "He Cha" (喝茶）culture

I'm happy with the chatting environment. We seemed so relax and really had the good time in Sharetea
 

 

 Cai Gen Xiang was the usual dining place for Tian Ning and me. I was "tidak sabar sabar" wish to bring JoJo to try vegetarian dishes!

Update on **4 May 2014**

I planned 4 May 2014 as the shopping day. Our main shopping destination were Bintang Mall, Imperial Mall and Permaisuri City Mall whereby easily accessed by bus.

Brilliant Loveheart Lip Care System

Few months ago, a lip care product-Brilliant attracted my attention in the Instagram. Most of the customers gave the positive comments and feedback about Brilliant. I decided to have a try to protect my dry and chapped lips. I ordered Brilliant from the Zooey House Resources based in Penang with the current promotion price RM 98. 

 

It has 3 steps: lip mask, lip gel patch, lip essence

First attempt in applying lip mask. It feel like scrub the lips instead of face 

It's the lip gel patch. It smelled like pudding. Of course it enhance my appetite in eating it!

I removed non wooden cover from the lip gel patch. Stick the lip patch around my lips. After 20 minutes, I removed the lip gel patch.The biggest diadvantage of Brilliant is the lip gel patch can't reuse anymore. Each box of lip gel patch carries 5 pieces of gel patch. 

After lip gel patch, applying the lip essence onto my lips. It tastes like strawberry flavor. Sometimes I even replace the lip balm with lip essence.

Mini Rice Cooker

Recently, I’ve battling an undiagnosed itchy skin for months now. I can’t figure what is it? Tay Mama told me the trigger of my itchy skin must be the rich fat and calories foods in the restaurant. She further told me the skin problem can’t cure by applying lotion or cream, the best method to cure the skin problem is to change the eating habits, lifestyle to help keep the skin felling soft and comfortable. Here is the born of my Korean made portable and mini rice cooker.
