I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack!

The company that I worked for

Hi, you must wonder where I’m going after my one week virtual disappearance. (Not going to post anything in the blog). Excuse me, I’m started to work. Y.A.Y, I’m being the employed category.

It’s very easy to get this job. Last Saturday, I just called the person-in charge that I wish to apply for the clerk position. The person-in charge just requires me to come for interview in the Monday afternoon around 3 or 4pm. The person-in charge was not going to interview me because she was late for coming. Apparently, a man was replacing her to interview me. After 5 minutes later, the man agreed to hire me. Frankly speaking, I did not have the sense of happiness when he agreed to hire me. I cannot understand why I had feeling like that? I had applied wide variety of HR executive and assistant but there is no response. I consider this job (forget to tell you, it’s a clerk position) as a starting point for me to gain the working experience in the office field.

Currently, I’m in appalling predicament whereby all the problems emerged from the abyss. Is this one of Buddha’s challenges to me as a noble Buddhist to test whether I am capable to loop over obstacles from my archetypal life? Chanting the Buddha text helps spiritually but I still doubt that am I strong to face the uncertainty future in my life now. Facing the circumstances ahead of me has definitely made me weaker both physically and mentally. I admit that I could not face my own weakness and not courage to utter my current job to my old friends. I have to show to friend around me that I am strong and capable to find a better job which is suit my academic qualification.

My family members still support and encourage me from times to times. They seemed care and concern about my job, my feeling and my thought. Every time they phoned me, inevitably I will voice out my thought and they just listened to my ranting and worries all the time. I should convince myself to be strong even though it is an endless difficulty ahead of me. Perhaps it is the time I learn to grow up independently?

Strolling around the Komtar

Checking blood pressure and BMI counter

It's my turn

Counseling counter. Since she ask me the purpose of taking her photo and I just said as a memory. Hence, I choose to unrevealed your face

Free toothpaste

Accidentally found that there is a free checking towards the blood pressure, heights, teeth in the Komtar area which is near to the Popular Bookstore.

Without hesitation, I shift to the checking counter and fill in the various forms.

When I taking the photo, the nurse was teasing me and said: “still want to snap photo”. I just smiled.

After checking my heights, weights, blood pressure, my BMI is normal.

And got free toothpaste after checking my teeth.

Exploring BJ Penang

Exploring BJ (Bukit Jambul) by using RP 302. It costs me RM 1.40 to come here from Jalan Bukit Gambir (my residential area). I found that a lot of RP bus will pass-by and it brings the convenience to the frequently bus passengers. I also need to transit the RP bus (307, 401E) to Queensbay Mall from here because there is no direct bus from Jalan Bukit Gambir (RP 302) to Queensbay Mall. Only 302 come across Jalan Bukit Gambir

 Various shophouses especially Hair Saloon

 Shophouses again

  Kompleks Bukit Jambul

This apartment namely BJ Court which is very very near to Kompleks Bukit Jambul

Mydin is located in the lower ground of the Kompleks Bukit Jambul

 Interesting name of this Kopitiam

It should not mean Chou Yang because it still not operate its business although 10am. There is no sign of customers in there.

Do you ask me will I move to BJ court? My answer will be definitely “No” because there is a lot of foreigner labors like Indonesia and so on (dark skin color people) in there. A Malay girl which is the Penangites told me that their hostels provided by the employer are quite near to Bukit Jambul. That’s why many Indonesians could be found at there. It is dangerous if go to Bukit Jambul during the night.

I own a broadband

He is doing the payment receipt

 CELCOM white broadband

IC and student card

The rental room did not provide internet cause me had to buy a broadband to surf the internet for checking mail, applying job, and other unknown reasons. I chose for Celcom broadband (I’m the supporter of the Celcom, even my phone number was using Celcom number)

The Celcom promoter advice me to take the student package for the Celcom broadband (5 GB, 1.72Mbps) which costs RM 60 per month. (Actually I’m not told him that I was the student but from my hair cut and the cloth that I wear he identified me as the student). I’m really proud because it means I’m look younger. *happy*

After consulting him about the current internet line condition in my residential area, I had paid for RM 150 for the Celcom broadband modem and it had 7 days testing period. He further explained to me that if the internet speed in the broadband suddenly turned slow and other problems to that modem, I can opt for terminating the celcom broadband modem in the Celcom Center Penang. Sunway Tunas is the nearest Celcom Center Penang which was located in my residential area.

Last but not least, I got his phone number in case any problems happen towards my broadband.

Acik (the Celcom promoter), thank you…….

Salute to Malcolm Tan

Grab the pictures from the The star website

He is the history teacher in the secondary school in Singapore. I really respect him when he uses the role-play method in the history lesson. (Get to know him when I read the Star newspaper). Like in the photo above, he becomes the Japanese soldier in the history lessons about the Japanese occupation in Singapore. Such kind of real, alive and amazing history lessons impressed me because using such role-play lesson need the production cost which is the history costume. He really has the passion and dedicated in using this kind of method to engage their students with the history lesson. Gambateh~~~ A teacher should not only be academically qualification but have the passion to teach and inspire their students to learn well.

I recalled my memories that I also dislike history when stepped into form 1 in the secondary school. Monotonous and boring are always related with the History subject. My mind changed when my Papa taught me the History subject (Form 1 history) during the night. (Mama requested him to teach me History subject since there was hardly found the history tuition teacher in my hometown).  However, he did not use the role-play method to teach me history. Papa’s facial expression, intonation captures my attention to read up more history. (Paleolitic era is the first history lesson that Papa going to teach me). The highest marks that I got from the History subject in the monthly test of the secondary school raised my interest to History subject higher. From that time, I remained keen on the History subject although it was all about reading and highlighting the History textbook.

Although Papa is getting older, he still likes History. He will use his spare time to read some historical books in the library in my hometown. He will watch the success history of the Lim Wu Tong over and over again when he learned in the lobby of the Genting Highlands. (the time when my whole family travel to KL). Watching the success history repeat did not mean my Papa had the limited space in his brain, he just really obsessed with the history. Trust me History can steal my Papa’s heart brutally besides Mama.

Message from the Hell

I just received a message from the hell by the secondary teacher housemate stating that the garment rack in the balcony of the rental house is belongs to that photographer. The apartment owner did not provide the garment rack. Am I needed to appreciate her generosity in informing me about this? Or I need to angry with her because she did not mention when the first time I came to observe the room. She just smiled and pretended to be the good people.

JoJo, my 3rd sister advised me better bought a new garment rack for myself since it’s not ethical when sharing the garment rack with others. I think it’s one of the way to avoid quarrel. I’m really unfamiliar with the geographic situation of the Penang and did not where can buy such garment rack. I’m just headed to the Komtar and further walked and discovered Pacific Marketplace. In Sabah CP (Center Point) had Pacific Ngiukee while in Penang is Pacific Marketplace. Doesn’t mean both of them are the same?

I found the garment rack with double and single. I chose single garment rack because I only had few of clothes. It’s RM 18.99.

Easy to install without using any tools

 The guideline map

Use 15 minutes to complete the single garment rack
