Ewha Womans University, Seoul

Update on ** 8 June 2014**

Our next stop was Ewha Womans University, Seoul.

I requested this attraction should be part of our Seoul itinerary since I was looking forward to visit this well-known university in South Korea that opened for tourists. I loved to see the design and architecture of the university in every country.

In addition, visiting university also enhance my youthful spirit as I saw  young students (with T-Shirt and jeans, make a good laugh, innocent & pure faces) lingering around the every corner in the campus.

Besides that, the commercial streets that located in front of Ewha Womans University and Ewha train station offered lots of coffee shop, street performances, fashion shops (especially catered for young ladies), hair salons, skin care stores and so on. The most important thing was the prices were quite reasonable and also within my budget too compared to Shinsegae Mall. It might due to target customers in the Ehwa commercial street were mainly university students. Charging higher prices will chase them away.

Therefore, visiting Ewha Womans University was a "win-win" situation, whereby visiting university and shopping hauls came together.

A very simple university main gate
What happened to my hand when touching pear flower ( 梨花)university logo?
How I wished I had the opportunity to study over there!!!
I entered the number 2 of the lecture halls. It was so spacious. But some of the places kept the tourists off. Probably the tourists will distract the students.

The architectures and designs were so gorgeous and stunning
So, shooting photo together was a must.

I was so happy when seeing university's Western style architecture
Pharmaceutical science building

Education building. My 3 travel companions will belong to this building if they study there.

Hello Kitty Cafe, Seoul

Update on ** 8 June 2014**

We paid a visit to Hello Kitty Cafe in Hongdae. We were getting lost although following the map. Hence, we requested the help from a Korean lady.  We're blessed in meeting such helpful Korean lady till sent us to the front of Hello Kitty Cafe.

 Pink, pink, pink building
We're so excited in taking photo with the helpful Korean lady
The Korean lady was fair in skin meanwhile I looked tanned in skin color. Oh my god, what should I do?

Cuteness everywhere in there
All cakes were in Hello Kitty shaped
I wished to own Hello Kitty Iphone 5S cases for myself but unfortunately couldn't found there.

Hello Kitty toilet signboard.
Can't resist to go to toilet for taking picture
It's me again.
One more before continue visiting the next attractions

As a Hello Kitty fan, I wished to try the Hello Kitty shaped cakes, drinks and immersed myself in the whole pink ambiance. Sadly,  I didn't had the opportunity to to do so. We had limited time as a traveller and also followed the wants of other travel companions. Hopefully, in the future I had the chance to experience it and recorded in my blog.

Two Awesome Place Cafe, Seoul

During night, I managed to visit A Twosome Place dessert cafe. Lee Min Ho was the spokeperson of this cafe drove me to pay a visit.  I wished to see Lee Min Ho's signature for some merchandise items in this cafe. Moreover, this cafe was quite close to my guesthouse.  Definitely, I wouldn't missed such golden opportunity.

Let's photo first in the main door of the cafe. Lee Min Ho's photo widely displayed in this cafe
It liked the ordinary European style cafe with cakes, coffee, chocolate drinks and fruit juices

The cakes not looked appetizing at all
The LCD screen of this cafe featured Lee Min Ho's surprise date at Two Awesome Place dessert cafe
We shared a cup of Cappuccino in order to get the Lee Min Ho's signature cupholder. A Twosome Place's Cappucino tasted like ordinary Cappuccino, nothing to shout about.
Last but not least, our group picture before ended this cafe visit.

Kwangjang Market + Shinsagae Mall, Seoul

Update on ** 7 June 2014**

We headed to Kwangjang Market. It was a 2 floors huge market. First floor of Kwangjang Market were packed with Korean street foods vendors, linen stores, fish and chicken stalls, souvenirs . Meanwhile, second floor contained Korean Hanbook (ready made and customize), bags and clothes stores.

Kwangjang Market
Most of the visitors were locals that searching Korean street foods.
It's part of Koreans foods culture, as all the food stalls very near to each other, totally  not separated by any walls.

We left with empty hand after 1 hour. We all not interested in products in Kwangjang Market. We completed our first day visit based on our Seoul trip itinerary on 4.30pm. We decided to go to Shinsegae Mall, which was near to our guesthouse too.

Me and Yuin
It's the high-end store. The clothes were exorbitant in prices. I capable to own those clothes if the money dropped from the sky. But it's impossible.
 MOGG brand
 Demian brand
It seemed like a fashion exhibition

After that, we moved to upper roof of Shinsegae Mall. It looked like a garden. Locals prefer to stroll around

Isn't a masterpiece of any Korean designer?
 Same went to this too?
This Korean Oppa was so attractive especially his long legs. His outfit matched him very well.
