Singapore trip (2011)

This is the boarding pass to Singapore................Singapore~~here I come with my family. I feel excited since it is the 1st time i am travel to another country although Singapore is our neighbour country.

We depart from Kuching Airport to the Singapore. We are taking photograph at the departure hall at the Kuching Airport happily.

We are in the flight AK6693-the number of the flight to Singapore

At 11.10 noon we arrrived at Changi Airport Terminal 1.We are heading to the Terminal 2 to board the skytrain in order to use MRT station...

On the night on the day we reach at Singapore, we are going to the Night Safari. 

It has the long queue of the Creatures of the Night Show. It is part of our Night Safari programme! This show set in a forest clearing and this 20-minute animal presentation had introduced me to nocturnal animals, from the elusive owl to nimble binturongs to intuitive civets. 

The seating is based on first come first served basis. We are watching the show on 7.30pm. The show times of the show are: 7.30pm, 8.30pm, and 9.30pm daily. Additional show at 10.30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays.

However, I cannot took the photopgraph because the staffs in the night show not allowed the flash light of the camera will scared the animals and sometimes will injured animals' eyesight. 

We also do not miss the Thumbuakar performance. This performance catches these human torches as they perform incredible fire-eating stunts.

We also join the Safari Adventure Tour. There is a long queue when most the visitors like to use the train to  understand in-depth animal facts, exclusive encounters with the majestic elephants and more!

The next day early in the morning-8 am I am going to eat breakfast. I see this shop that I never seen before. However, I cannot enter since this shop still not opened!

This Singapore flyer can also be consider as the icon of the Singapore city in my opinion. It was so great that can see from the far away.

The next place we go after taking breakfast we going to the Singapore flyer. Cameraman at the Singapore flyer help us take this photograph.

Before we are going to board the Singapore flyer, we step into the Journey of Dreams. It is the latest attraction and a whole new flight experience at Singapore Flyer because it awed by an engaging multimedia showcase that provides a deeper appreciation and understanding of the Singapore Story and the iconic Singapore Flyer, and extend our experience onboard the scenic flight on the Flyer, taking in amazing 360° views of Singapore and beyond

 

Finally, I come on board Singapore Flyer and see for myself on 165 metres above, a panoramic treat of our forefathers’ dreams turning into reality. In here I see all the view of the whole Singapore city.

This is the venue of this year's Singapore National Day celebration. A floating performance stage will be set up in the surface of the sea.

The more important places in the city we are going to visit are Merlion Park. Merlion Park has the icon of the Singapore city, Merlion. My family and I are taking photograph at this Merlion. It is mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish.

I take this Merlion picture when I board the River Cruise. River Cruise can see the view of all the Singapore River.

This picture look like the 'durian' shape. Actually it is a Esplanade. It located near the mouth of the Singapore River.The unique architectural design has been said to have an appearance similar to a durian. Some Singaporeans casually refer to the Esplanade as "The Durian" or "The Big Durian" or also "The Durian Shell". However, the tour guide tell us that actually this building was built based on the 'microphone' shape.  

The Clarke Quay is situated near the Singapore River where I can take the photo only when I board the River Cruise.

We board the cable car to Sentosa Insland. The Sentosa Island can be board from the ViVo City shopping mall. There are quite traffic crowded since that day we go to ViVO City is Sunday. Most of the Singaporean like to go to the ViVo City for shopping.

 At the 2pm afternoon we are going to the Sentosa Island. There are 2 ways to go to the Sentosa island. We are choosing the cable car to the Sentosa which is the good transport compared to the other alternative transport. It is an excellent point of view over the harbour and part of the Singapore city. 

At first, I was quite hesitant to ride the cable car because of the height. My eyes were closed due to height. However after a little while, I found it quite enjoyable.

 The first place we visit in Sentosa Island is underwater world.I see the staffs are feeding those sea animals

We are taking photos inside the underwater world to keep our sweet time in there.

We are going to the Dolphin Lagoon to see the show of the Dolphin....This is the performance stage of the Dolphin and sea lion.

 

There are 2 dolphins are performing the show. The trainers are feeding fish for the dolphins. The Dolphins are pink in colour.

Then, we go to watch 4D movie. It's so real!! It's my first time to experience it. We like it so much. Just feel we are inside the movie situation.

 We are wearing the 4D spectacles.

 We are now moving to watch the image of Singapore.

After watching  5 minutes short history about Singapore, we are keep moving to see the wax people inside the museum.

In the evening, we are visiting the images of Singapore in Sentosa Island. 

In my opinion, Images of Singapore is more than a walk down memory lane. It is a journey to the very soul of the nation. Here, legend, facts and folklore are creatively interwoven into an "I am there" experience. Journey from the earliest days of founding fathers to today’s modern Singapore and discover a place where cultural diversity, unity of values and adventure converge.

Genuinely speaking I really feel I am in the history lane of Singapore and modern path of the Singapore where all the history people are carved in the wax. Also, the music and the lighting made the whole Images of Singapore are ‘REAL’. 

About 7pm, we are going to take the Skyride to go over the other side of the Sentosa Island to watch the climax of today's tour, which is the song of the sea. However, since we are not allow to use flash of camera, so we cannot take the pictures, but it really worth the price ticket!

The last day of our trip we going to the Universal Studio. My Dad and my mom was taking photograph at the icon of the Universal Studio.

 We are joining the Madagascar: A Crate Adventure

It has a long queue. We had waited for 45 minutes. Finally it is our turn to try the river boat.

This is the 2nd attraction for me:Shrek. It has the 4D adventure. Also I am going to see the Donkey Live.....Many children like the Donkey Live show...

It is the castle in the movie of Shrek....

 We want to go to the WaterWorld which is one of the attraction in Universal Studio Singapore but it is still not ready for tourists to visit!

 We are going to play the activity of the Jurassic Park......We waited for 1 hour 15 minutes to play the adventure games of the Jurassic Park.

After that, we headed to the Sci-Fi City, which is one of the attraction in the Universal Studio. This is the Battlester Galactica which is the coaster that goes up and down with an intense corkscrew and a cobra roll. I can hear the loud screaming of the players.

It seem like in the heaven. My sister and I was taking photograph happily.

 Now we enter the world of The Mummy.

 Revenge of the Mummy is the indoor roller coaster game.

We go to this outlet to buy the cup that has the signature of the Universal Studio 

We also visit the Casino of Sentosa Island

At night, we go to the Hollywood China Bistro restaurant to eat our dinner. The atmosphere in this restaurant is so comfortable.

We drink the Singapore Sling. The local people say if you don't drink this cocktail, you are never been to  Singapore.

There are lots of shopping malls along the Orchard Road. For example, The Centre Point, Orchard Central, Somerset 313, Ngee Ann City, Mandarin Gallery, Far East Plaza, Scape, Shaw House, Wisma Atria Shopping Centre and so on.

This is one of the shops in the Terminal 1 Changi Airport.

I buy some chocolate in this shop as my souvenir.....

We didn't take too much photograph in the Changi Airport because all of us are tired already after go around Singapore interesting places in these 4 days. However, the food in the Ruyi Restoran in the airport Terminal 1 is so delicious. We all love it so much!


Bye Bye Singapore~~~~~I hope I can visit this city again...
