During the night, it was schedule making pudding mooncakes. I didn’t involve. I was run out of energy and body battery since whole day went out for groceries and making snowskin mooncakes. I just sitting idle in Tian Ning’s home and watching movies. Li Yune and De Fa were in charge in making pudding mooncakes. I’m quite impressed  with Li Yune that still have the energy and passion in making the snowskin mooncakes after spending whole day in making snowskin mooncakes without resting. When one bake without passion, it kills the bake. She was totally excited about baking the mooncakes.

Togetherness ❤❤❤

The garden was decorated with beautiful and fancy lantern when the students lighten the lanterns. It consider as “eye candy “at that night. Seeing the lantern hype up the mid-autumn spirit.  The organizer had arranged some games for “Mid Autumn Festival Gathering”. This kind of gathering was a great experience for all the participants because all them were gathering under one roof. Everyone had a wide smile on their face on that night.

It was truly and exciting night that was filled with laughter.

I recalled those happy moment when I was a child that like to play lantern. And parents will look after us from here and there. My uncle and auntie (that live in Roban) would join us too. After strolling for few round with lantern in front of our house, I will hang the lanterns at the side of the wall with the help of the wooden sticks.  In the temple’s Mid Autumn Festival Gathering I didn’t play any lanterns but I’m quite enjoy watching the little angel playing and have fun. Some of the parents bought the electronic lantern for the kids, however I prefer the traditional lantern with candles. I think those electronic lantern totally kill the original significance meaning of Mid-Autumn Festival. I find myself getting older……Speaking about mooncakes, which is the hallmark of this festival. It is getting expensive. In fact, I don’t like those expensive and high quality mooncakes. Nowadays mooncake comes in variety of flavours by mixing fruits, cheese, coffee and so on. However, I prefer those cheap white and black bean paste mooncakes especially make in Kuching (the brand of 振香斋). From my younger age until now, I use to eat振香斋mooncakes.

“May we all be blessed with longevity; though far apart, we are still able to share the beauty of the moon together.” (Tian Ning and Me, taken before have a drink in Sharetea)
