Since we told the taxi driver we loved to visit temple, he highly recommended us the famous Hokkien temple, Jee Deck Dian in Sandakan.
I was quite curious about Hokkien Temple. Wasn't the Buddhist temples were divided based on the Chinese origin. While we reached the front gate of this temple, I realized " Hong San Tze" also existed in Roban and Saratok, whereby most the residents were Hokkien.

The main attraction in the Hokkien temple was the "holy bed" for the infertile women. According to the taxi driver, once the infertile women slept on the "holy bed", she was believed to be awarded a son
