Yeh Liu Geopark

Update on **25 December 2013**

Our dreams were scattered by the morning call arranged by Ah Xiang on 7.30.We'll proceed to Yeh Liu Geopark on 9.00am. Among 3 of us, JoJo was the first person fall asleep and also hard to get her out from the bed in the early morning. Rosamond and me were gonna bear the responsibility as her "human alarm". After 1 hours, 3 of us ready to have our breakfast to boost our energy in the highest floor of the WeGo Motel.

Sushi, french fries, and sausages. Quite surprise the motel will provide french fries for breakfast. Also the name tag of sausages put as "breakfast sausages"（早餐香肠）

Taiwan style sausages was taste totally different with Malaysia. I prefer Chilli sauce as my dipping sauce for french fries but I couldn't found any chilli sauce except Tomato sauce.

Yeh Liu Geopark parking site

Yeh Liu is a cape in the town of Wanli, Taipei. The cape, known by geologists as the Yeliu Promontory, It stretches approximately 1,700 metres into the ocean and formed geological forces pushed Datun Mountain out of the sea

A number of rocks were given the names based on their shapes. The most famous one were The Queen Head （女王头）We were told by Ah Xiang that the famous Queen head will "drop" soon later due to natural factors. Hence they built the second Queens Head. Most of the visitors flooded to the park to catch a glimpse of those famous icon.

I didn't venture into the Queen's head and statue Lin Tian Chen. He's the hero that try to save the student who visit Yeh Liu and swept the waves in 1964. Unfortunately, He lost the lives with the student. Upon hearing the news, President Chiang Kai Shek gave instructions to set a statue as a memory for people to remember his brave acts. 

Again, I complained limited time given by Ah Xiang and cannot get the clean shots when packed with visitors had mitigate my passion for shooting photos.
