Day 3 BalI Trip (Part 2)-Luwak Coffee making process

We're headed to the Luwak Coffee plantation. Once we stepped there, the staff welcomed us and directly explained everything about Luwak coffee to us.

***Visiting luwak coffee is a must since it's well-known as the most expensive coffee in the world.

 Berries of the coffee plants

Main character was here, Civets/Indonesian jungle cats

Civets/Indonesian jungle cats ate the coffee berries. As the civets cannot digest the seeds of coffee berries, they expels them with their feces.

After that, the Luwak coffee plantation workers will collect, clean, select, washing and roasting the feces in the day because the civets were inactive (sleeping mode). It will active in the night and leave their feces.
According to the plantation lady, this plantation 100% adopted "hand-made" produce Luwak coffee.  No machine required
Roasted beans, ground coffee, etc....

Then, we proceeded a hut in the plantation to try different tea and coffee. Luwak coffee charged IDR 50,000 but we still wanna to try it.

I sensed that it was a tourist trap. Overall, it was the fun experience to taste all the coffees and teas at the same times although some of them were not liking my taste. We even bought Mangosteen tea and Saffron tea for Tay Pa Pa in the gift shop.
