Deep Fried Potatoes-Filled Curry Puffs

Update on **22 June 2013**

I fried these potatoes filled curry puff on last Saturday. I bought the ready prepared or instant curry puffs from Servay Hypermarket instead of making. I will try to make my own curry puff in one day since home made was the better.

When I was in my hometown, I dislike the curry puff (maybe it was not suite my taste). I changed when I studied in UMS, there was a Malay in the hostel sold the nice curry puff. (I love its crunchy layer enclosed with aromatic or spicy filling). I still remembered the owner of the Malay stall was come from Beaufort, Sabah (same hometown with my roommate). From that time, I was the huge fan of curry puff and cannot resist a good curry puff.

Chang De Temple

At the end of month April, I was part of the family members of Chang De Temple (常德佛堂). My 3rd sister, JoJo can be consider as the main contributor of this relationship. In fact, when I was working in Miri in January, she had requested the officer in the temple that she frequently went in Kota Kitabalu (KK) to bring me to temple Miri (there were a branch of that temple in Miri). Due to the busy schedules of that temple officer in KK, she almost forgot. In the month of April, JoJo reminded that temple officer again.   This reminder make the Chang De Temple’s people contacted me. Those officers and youths in the Chang De Temple are the passion, and warm-hearted people. These qualities tend to make me build the relationship with them. Those bonding relationship made me participate in the activities that are organized by them. Stay tuned for more awesome social gathering with them.....

1st Nike Sport Shoes

The original intention that I bought this Nike sport shoes was for the Rainforest Borneo Resort outings (can be seen from the post Rainforest Borneo Resort Miri). I told Rosamond it really make my heart pain (I was the type that will value every single cent that I had spent). Guess what, Rosamond said "that was the necessary item, you did the right thing" Rosamond undergo drastically change in her buying habits since she stepped into the path of a doctor. The pressure from her studies turned her from a thrift characteristic to a heavy spending and consumption characteristic. I understood that's a only way to release her stress. Back to topic, having a pair of pricey sport shoes which also equal to its quality, I hoped it can stand with me for few years.
