I will participate in the
preparation of reunion dinner every year of Chinese New Year. Due to the
tiredness of sitting in the Freesia bus express for 9 hours (took the bus from
Miri to Saratok), my passion towards the preparation of reunion dinner for this
year was decrease. It’s better for me to take the nap in the afternoon because
I expect the night of reunion dinner will be noisy with the firing of
firecrackers and fireworks to welcome the snake Chinese New Year 2013. For
Chinese, a Chinese New Year did not feel like Chinese New Year without the
noise, explosion and firecrackers.
Ah Su (my biological uncle lived in Roban) and Ah Fang (my aunt that live in Roban) promise
that they will join our reunion dinner but they did not turned up. Mama was very
disappointed since she prepared a lot. Sighed…Cooking too much cause the food
wastage. Nope, Rosamond and JoJo were having the big space of stomach. I’m sure
both of them will help to clean all the foods.
Mama was the main chef in the reunion dinner while JoJo was her assistant. Mama started to prepare the dinner in the 4pm. The two little younger sisters was packed with their Xbox game recently. They wish to fully utilized the TV since Mama liked to watch the TV programme during first, second, third day of Chinese New Year.
We ate on 8pm. Rosamond will
back home at that time from Kuching.
