Macau was the neighbour of the Hong Kong. Tourists loved to explore Macau when visiting Hong Kong at the same time. This included us as well. There were several ways to get to Macau such as ferry and helicopter. It all depended on your budget and times.
We opted for Ferry to reach Macau because it's the most economic and convenient. From MTR Mong Kok station---> MTR Sheung Wan station, we arrived Shun Tak building and went to the third floor to take the Macau Ferry. Macau ferry operated by few companies (e.g Cotai Water Jet & Turbojet).
We traveled by using Cotai Water Jet as we bought the Macau ferry tickets from Ding Ding online travel company few days ago. It solely sold the Cotai Jet Macau ferry tickets. Nevertheless, Cotai Water Jet departed to Macau Taipa ferry terminal. All the Macau casinos were near to Macau Taipa ferry terminal, therefore, for those that wished to go to casinos, Cotai Water Jet was the best for them.
Meanwhile, Turbojet stopped at Macau outer harbour ferry terminal. The Macau famous tourist attractions such as Ruins of St Paul, Senado Square, Monte Fortress, A-Ma temple were in the Macau outer harbour ferry terminal areas. Hence, I would advise the visitors that prefer to visit tourists attractions, please take the Turbojet instead of Cotai Jet. I had been told by the locals they always took the Turbojet because Turbojet's ferry was quite frequent. Read more about Turbojet, click H.E.R.E.
Naruto changed the tickets issued by the Ding Ding travel company with Cotai Water Jet. It brought inconvenience for us as wasted our time to enter the departure hall.
The day looked gloomy and dark.
The female staff suddenly turned sour face when noticing me took their photo. What a fucking customer service attitude?
No time to take the proper shot as most of the passengers behind me seemed rushing to explore Macau terminal
1) Venetian Macau
The first stop in Macau was Venetian Macau. It was a luxury hotel and casino resort owned by Las Vegas Sands. At there, you'll amazed by the grand buildings' structure and ambiances, gondola ride, great shopping experience and so on.
Taking free shuttle bus went to Venetian Macau.
Tallest casino and hotel buildings everywhere.
I felt I visited the King Palace instead of hotel and casino
Everything was in gold colors
So shiny
3D effect of the floor. So amazing
Luxury brands that totally not suitable for me
Impressed with the brilliant ideas of the creator
Enjoying the serene ambiance and exceptional architecture
The imitate sky really like the real one
Paid for HKD 128 for 15 minutes gondola ride. While the gondalier glides through the water, she sang "Fly Me To The Moon" at the same time.
However, I'm dissatisfied with the gondola service. The gondoliers laughed at my answers when they asked us questions. Poor customer services!!!
2) Fisherman Wharf
In fact, fisherman wharf was not included in our Macau to go list. Since we took free shuttle bus from Venetian Macau to Macau outer harbour ferry terminal, and found out fisherman wharf just within close distance with Macau outer harbour ferry terminal. Further, both of us participated in the selfie contest of all the Macau attractions organized by Macau Tourism Board. Thus, we paid a visit there.
Naruto's cute facial expression in the entrance of the theme park
Exhibition, convention center and restaurants could be seen there
In order to save our time, we get the bus no 3 to Ruins of St Paul (our main Macau attractions) and Senado Square
3) Kuan Tai Temple
The folks got the blessings from Kuan Tai
4) Senado Square
It was the public square of Macau and located in the central area of the Macau. Please make sure to come early as more crowded later. The photos definitely looked better when less sea of people.
Portuguese style architecture
This one too
St Domingo/ St Dominic church
Grocery store
Unique road sign
We failed to get Ruins of St. Paul although searching through tourist guide books and road signs. I saw few European tourists also like us lost in finding Ruins of St Paul. The road signs were confused us. They indicated here and there but when we followed exactly we also can't find it.
To make matter worst, we seeked the help from the locals however the local refused to assist us by saying "you ask others for directions, I was damn busy". It left the negative impression for Macau based on tourists perspectives. It also made me felt unwelcome.
Given by Macau Tourism Board as the souvenirs to participate in the selfie contest
It was cold at the outside of the Macau outer harbour ferry terminal.
We used Turbot Jet back to Hong Kong at 6.30pm.
Turbot Jet offered Standby System for Macau-Kowloon, Hong Kong ferry in case the passengers in the previous Macau-Kowloon, Hong Kong ferry didn't turned up. It benefited the next next next schedules of passengers to replace the empty seats.
I liked this type of system because it save the passengers times. In other words, it reflected efficiency and higher productivity.
In contrast, I dislike the customer service of Turbo Jet ferry's staff. They were so impatient in answering the questions of tourists. Besides that, they were not give clear instructions and totally create the troubles for the tourists. They even showed angry faces when the tourists needed to clarify the questions. Seriously, their customer services were unacceptable. Perhaps professional customer service training could fix this problem.
Isn't the guy arrow pointed in the above picture was the Come Home Love (爱回家)'s actor???Searching for few times but still can't confirm. The story was like this:
Naruto: Jie Jie, you see that guy? He seemed appear in Come Home Love (爱回家)1
Me: (looking at the old guy). Yes, I had been seen this old guy in TVB drama
Naruto: Not the old guy laaaa, the young one. He is wearing blazer. The ladies next to her is Fala Chen (陈法拉)
Me: Fala Chen not look like this lady boooo. You must recognize the wrong person liao.
Naruto: Yes, he is. You see, you see, very similar.
I don't bothered Naruto at the end. She seemed not give up and kept on persuading me she had been seen one of the TVB actor in person. Oh my god!!!
