Chiang Mai: Nimmanhaemin Road, Morning Market, Sunday Walking Street, Horapa's Pork Rices, Wake Up Coffee,Wawee Coffee

Very long time not travel with this sister, Rosamond already

Rosamond: your favorite university featured in the flight magazine.
Me: Their marketing strategy lahhhh.

Nimmanheamin Road

Since Nimmanheamin road (or Nimman road) had more trendy pubs, cafe and restaurants of Chiang Mai, definitely I wouldn't miss out.

Some more, a large lifestyle shopping mall Chiang Mai-Maya shopping mall was within walking distance in Nimman road.

Getting around Nimman road by using red tut tut/cab, 30 Baht per person. It's the common transport of Chiang Mai and always available.

Nimman road.
Unique pink outlet
She really crazy with the scarfs. Wishing to take them back home. Mama would scold her if she with us in Chiang Mai
Coming to Thailand, must have picture with Kap Pun Kap Mcdonald.
This Chiang Mai guy not camera shy.

Maya lifestyle shopping center.
Muay Thai-Thailand's boxing.
Food courts, food prices between 40-60 Baht
Pork noodles, fish maw noodle soup (from left to right) & teh ice

"Have you notice all Chiang Mai's foods cooked in huge cooking pot?

"Then they eat pork, chicken, fish maw, kueh teow, noodles. Exactly like Chinese foods".

"They're like Sarawak's Orang Iban.  All with large meals. Couldn't found any cookies, kuih or light meals".

"You think they can survive if they're in Japan?"

Above were conversation between me and Rosamond.

Morning markets, Chiang Mai Gate

Plenty of choices of authentic Thailand’s foods varies from fresh fruits, linen T shirts, fish, meats, snacks, etc.

Locals were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to ask the vendors about the prices and clarified our doubts in relation to the products’ expiry dates.

Most importantly, it’s reasonably priced. Noodles, meats, sticky rice and snacks in 20 Baht. The morning market closed during lunch times.

Indeed, delicious and cheap eats!

10 Baht for 5 small pieces of corns
 Many types of white rices.
Salty Huat Kueh & Jelly.
Fried pork skins.
 Tobaccos and papers
 Chap Fan
Clueless with this one.
holly sticks, yellow & orange colors of candles.
I tried pork sausages (20 Baht)-spicy and full of herbal flavors
You could find banana, watermelons, pineapples, dragon fruits and longan at there too.
Thailand's skin cares: Snail White, Milk Plus, Ray and Neou. Prices were reasonable
Medicines and herbal oils
Breakfast: Pork mee sua, 20 Baht. There's a reason to believe that mee sua was the breakfast main choice as lots of mee sua stalls in the morning market.
Tha Phae Gate, one of the landmark of Chiang Mai old city
When it's my turn to shot the picture, the pigeons disturbed me. They wanted me to feed them. My foods in hands seduced them.
This was I could take after away from the bunch of pigeons
This river could considered as the symbol of Chiang Mai old city

Sunday Walking Streets

It extended for 1 km long and extremely crowded when getting late.

This attraction situated in front of the Sunday walking street
Closed folk life museum
Banana could be grilled in this way !
Oyster pancakes
Husky needed the fan very much as it couldn't stand with the heat
Flower soaps smelled good.
Never thought all were key chains until informed by the owners
This was the power of national anthem.
I've heard the good things of Khao Soi, Chiang Mai. Finally tried it with Rosamond.

Rosamond fancy about the fragrance, aromatic and rich coconut soup based of Khao Soi. For me, I still preferred not so creamy coconut soup, exactly like Sarawak Laksa.

Me: you should try this one, Thailand's chicken feet salads.
Rosamond: Ok, Ok. Ceh, 20 Baht only.
Me: How it tastes?
Rosamond: Refreshing and delicious. This salad new to me-boneless chicken feet, new way of cooking chicken feet.
Me: True
Rosamond: This is your turn to eat. Very spicy when having more.

I wanted to faint after hearing.

Sunday walking street reflected the arts of Chiang Mai people. Hardly seen the imitation of well-known designers' brand.

Good things of Chiang Mai people was higher level of patience. They wouldn't angry when asking the prices and product demonstrations.

But it's hard to bargain in the Sunday walking street. 2 clothes vendors appeared ignorance faces in terms of prices negotiation.

Comfortable cotton pants.

Horapa's Red Pork Rices, Chiang Mai International Airport

79 Baht each plate of rice. Their foods similar with Malaysia BBQ pork rices. Overall, it's pretty decent-looked good, smelled good and tasted good.

Wake Up, Chiang Mai International Airport

Ice mocha banana, 89 Baht. This combination not terrible either-smooth and aromatic.

Wawee Coffee, Chiang Mai International Airport

Thailand’s Starbucks

It’s signature, Wawee ice coffee. It done quite well- aromatic, smooth and thick in its’ own right.

That's all, till the next times!
