Taipei 101

Our next destination was Taipei 101. I believe everyone heard of Taipei 101, the famous icon of Taipei,Taiwan. Previously,it was the tallest building in the world but Burj Dubai already had overtaken Taipei 101 in 2004. The construction of Taipei 101 started in 1994 and finished in 2004.

It's located in Xin Yi district (信义区).  We were having half an hour to visit Taipei 101. Sucks! It's the biggest pitfalls when following a tour guide. Actually we're lack of flexibility, we've to stick to schedule.

According to Ah Xiang, it look like a bamboo stalk (an icon of learning and growth), own money boxes (a symbol of abundance) based on Feng Shui perspectives. Furthermore, it has 508 meter tall. When you add 5+0+8 it equals 13, 13 means the 13 numbers of Chinese strokes that like to used by the traditional king because it will bring good fortune for the king.

It's a upmarket shopping mall that major international brands could be found here like Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Mui Mui, Prada, Gucci, Bulgari
Observatory Taipei 101
