Bye Bye, Sunny Thailand!

Due to the tiredness of shopping in Chatuchak, we check in D&D Inn and ask the help of the travel agency to help us to buy the bus ticket to go to Hatyai. We had bought the bus ticket to Penang from Bangkok which consumes 21 hours in Welcome Travel near the D&D Inn. Do not why both of us insisted to use the bus to go back to Penang instead of Train. The train only use 12 hours to reach Hatyai.

After settle the bus ticket matter, I went to Japanese Restaurant to fill my stomach. @@@

Lazy to go anywhere in Bangkok, just stay in D&D Inn whole day, waiting for the arrival of 6pm Thailand time to take the bus to Hatyai

The travel agency promise us the bus will pick up on 6pm Thailand time, actually the bus driver does not keep his promise and come to pick us on 6.45pm Thailand time. My China friend was very angry and ask when the bus will come. The travel agency staff reply her inquiries by saying in the inpolite manner "everyone was also waiting for the bus, not only you, the bus will depart on 8pm Thailand time, now is still early, back to your seat!"

In my opinion, why the travel agency staff is so rude and unpolite towards the customers????customers is the KING.......If the customers is unsatisfied with the service, he or she will not repeat visit the travel agency service. In addition, the Thais speak English in the big and rude sound. Even the Malay in Malaysia also speak English in softly manner.

My China friend told me that even the China people that work in travel agency will behave polite and nice with the tourists when the tourists use the service of the travel agency. The revenue ($$$) reasons encourage them behave polite and efficient towards the tourists.

around 6am Thailand time we reached Surat Thani

Thank you to the bus company staff that brought us to eat the breakfast. I really miss this Chinese type breakfast. Bak Moi (Pork porridge) - LOVE IT......Mama, i miss your Bak Moi.

You Zha Kueh- Our breakfast cost us 50 Baht ( 2 pork porridge, a plate of You Zha Kueh, 2 chinese tea)....So cheap!

Take the mini bus from Surat Thani to Hatyai (4 hours). The mini bus stop at the rest stop to let the passengers to eat and rest

Around 1pm Thailand time we arrive at Hatyai. Still wait the bus company Hatyai to wait for the mini bus to Penang at 3pm Thailand time.

3pm we take the mini bus from Hatyai to Penang. In the mini bus, I meet one of the Malay (go to Hatyai to learn Yasin every 2 weeks) that nice and inform me that I can stop at Changlun without going to Penang because Changloon is the must pass-by when going to Penang. The Thailand mini bus driver will be more happy once they dropped us because he can pick up the new passengers to increase his revenue. Yahoooo so happy when I heard such good news. He reminds me that it is better to inform the mini bus driver when reach at the Malaysia Immigration compared to Sadao Thailand Immigration because according to his experience, the Thailand mini bus driver last week dropped the European tourists in the Sadao Thailand Immigration department when the European tourists tell him that they want to stop at Bukit Kayu Hitam. Bukit Kayu Hitam is not the Sadao Thailand Immigration department. Both of them has short distance. Hence, the European tourists need to take the taxi to the Bukit Kayu Hitam. The mini bus driver successfully pick up the new passengers in Sadao Thailand Immigration once he dropped the European tourists.@@@

After I hear his story, I can conclude that the Thais is very money-oriented like the Taxi-Tut Tut driver that I had met in Bangkok. Once I step my foot in Changloon at 4.30pm Malaysia time, the familiar feeling was surrounding me. It is better when back to Changloon and UUM...........@@@@
