Evergreen Kopitiam (青山茶室), Saratok

Today, Naruto and me were willing to drag our body to enjoy our breakfast in Evergreen Kopitiam (青山茶室)as it's one of the one stop kopitiam that savour various favorites such as dry noodles, soup noodles, dry wantan, pork porridge, kue chap, Sarawak laksa and so on under one roof. It was bustling with patrons and quite difficult to find a table during breakfast time.

My favorites dishes in here were Sarawak Laksa and Kue Chap. Here was my take of the best of Sarawak Laksa and Kue Chap that I could find in Saratok.

Evergreen Kopitiam (青山茶室)was next to the only one private clinic in Saratok. It's easier to find.
One of my favorite stall that was selling kue chap, laksa, mee sua. This stall was operated from 7.30 am until 11 am everyday.
I can't missed the opportunity to order that stall's kue chap. It was a soy sauce broth with broad-style of kue tiaw and contained pig innards, pig skins, pork belly, hard boiled eggs that braised in dark sauces. I like it's thick soy sauce broth with right amount of ingredients and fragrance. Other than that, the pork belly were so juicy and tender.
Naruto went for Sarawak Laksa (RM 4.00). Sarawak Laksa was a bowl of rice noodles with sliced chickens, prawns, fried eggs with spicy soups. The thick santan of the gravy and fresh bean sprouts smells really added aroma and flavor to this dish. The sambal belacan and squeeze of lime juices added into the Sarawak Laksa pushed the flavour up to notch. It was extremely decent and Naruto licked the bowl clean every time she had here's Sarawak Laksa.
